2. Subaru x Snowbird Custom Car Display

For Subaru of America & Snowbird
I had the opportunity to help design a custom car display to support the partnership between Subaru of America and Snowbird.
This display came together in 6 weeks. I sourced a custom fabricator, White Gorge Designs, and worked with Sam Tresco to design this abstracted rock form with laser perforated, powder-coated steel. I sought precedents from my experience at Axis Architecture, known for their signature perforated metal facades & building wraps.
We navigated a number of obstacles and design pivots to come to this final form, but ultimately, we were able to meet our deadline and satisfy both parties. This design takes into consideration the harsh weather, the mountain environment it sits in, and the design standards of both Subaru and Snowbird. We wanted an organic integration that stands out to really highlight a valuable partnership between our two companies.
It was a pleasure working with Subaru and was a welcome and unexpected opportunity to do some product design for my Events & Partnerships position at Snowbird.
